Double Papasan Chairs & Cushions

Our double papasan chair, also called the mamasan chair, is a two-person rattan bowl chair made for curling up together. Every set pairs a walnut-shade rattan frame (61.5 x 45 inches) with our DELUXE cushion.

Only from Papasans Unlimited: you won't find our Deluxe double cushion anywhere else. We fill it 9–10 inches thick and use only 10 tufts, so it stays plump, soft and generous enough to overlap the frame – you won't feel the rattan underneath.

Choose the complete chair, or just the deluxe cushion (66 x 47 inches) to refresh a double frame you already own. It fits double frames measuring 61.5–64 inches long by 45–46 inches wide. Cushions come in hard-wearing twill, soft microsuede, or weather-ready outdoor fabrics in solids and patterns.

All prices include delivery by UPS or FedEx within the 48 contiguous United States.

Double Papasan Chair FAQ

What is a double papasan chair?

A double papasan chair, also called a mamasan chair, papasan couch or papasan loveseat, is an oversized two-person version of the classic papasan. It's a wide rattan bowl frame on a sturdy base with a thick cushion on top, big enough for two people to sit together or one person to stretch out.

How big is your double papasan chair?

Our double papasan frame measures 61.5 x 45 inches. The Deluxe double cushion measures 66 x 47 inches, so it overlaps the frame for a generous, plush seat. This is a large papasan chair, so allow plenty of floor space.

Is a mamasan chair the same as a double papasan?

Yes. "Mamasan", "double papasan", "papasan sofa" and "papasan couch" all describe the same oversized two-person papasan. Every chair in this collection is a mamasan-size double papasan.

What makes the Deluxe double cushion different?

Our Deluxe double cushion is only available from Papasans Unlimited. It's filled 9–10 inches thick with lightweight, compression-resistant polyester and uses only 10 tufts, so it stays plump and you won't feel the rattan underneath.

Can I buy just the cushion for my existing frame?

Yes. The Deluxe double papasan cushion is sold on its own and fits double frames measuring 61.5–64 inches long by 45–46 inches wide. Measure your frame before ordering.

What fabrics are available?

Choose hard-wearing twill, soft microsuede, or weather-ready outdoor fabrics in solids and patterns.

How much is shipping?
