Replacement Cushions for Pier 1 Papasan Chairs

Pier 1's papasan chair was a classic for decades, and plenty of those rattan frames are still going strong. When the cushion wears out, there's no need to replace the whole chair. We make thick, fully stuffed replacement cushions that fit standard papasan frames, shipped free within the 48 contiguous United States.

Step 1: Measure your frame

Measure straight across the top of the bowl, from rim to rim, without following the curve of the dish. Then match your measurement below.

Step 2: Choose your cushion

• Single frame about 42" across – our 44" papasan cushion
• Single frame about 46" across (the most common size) – our 48" cushion, our oversized 52" tufted cushion, or our extra-thick Deluxe 52" cushion
• Double papasan (mamasan) frame about 61.5–64" long x 45–46" wide – our Deluxe double papasan cushion

Step 3: Pick your fabric

Our Deluxe cushions – only from Papasans Unlimited

You won't find our Deluxe cushions anywhere else. The Deluxe double is filled 9–10 inches thick with only 10 tufts, and the Deluxe single at least 8 inches thick with only 12 tufts. Fewer tufts leave room for extra filling, so they stay plump and you won't feel the rattan frame underneath.
